I saw another Fellini movie yesterday! Giulietta Masina plays a young girl whose mother sells her to a brutish minstrel performer played by Anthony Quinn. Made in 1954, it's a movie that's as beautiful now as it was then. It makes me think, a human life is so short. Giulietta Masina and Fellini died of old age, but their products, made in the early prime of their lives, still shine.

One of my favorites. Sad & beautiful. Nino Rota's score is haunting.
